CH/LI - Federated Register Service

1. General information about the CH/LI Patent Register

Based on the treaty between the Swiss Confederation and the Principality of Liechtenstein on Patent Protection as well as Articles 142(1) & 149 EPC there is a unitary patent for Switzerland and Liechtenstein. As a consequence, there is no separate National Patent Register for Liechtenstein and all granted patents, both national and EP patents, are valid in both countries.
