The general meeting of STOP PIRACY, the Swiss anti-counterfeiting and piracy platform, took place on 15 September at the company USM in Münsigen. The meeting also welcomed the economic association economiesuisse as a new member. It is represented on the Executive Committee with immediate effect by Leonie Ritscher.

STOP PIRACY was founded in 2005, and it has been committed to combating counterfeiting and piracy at the national and international levels ever since. The IPI is a founding member. It provides the Head of the Secretariat, Eveline Capol, while Jürg Herren (Deputy Head of Legal & International Affairs at the IPI) is the Vice President of the association.
