The International Swiss Talent Forum 2018 drafts ideas for the city of the future. The IPI is involved as a sponsor.
In an age of rapidly growing populations, how can urban areas be sustainably developed? At the 7th International Swiss Talent Forum (ISTF) from 17 – 20 February 2018 in Thun, 70 talented youths from across Europe will search for solutions to the challenges of the urban areas of the future.
As a sponsor of the forum, which is organised by Swiss Youth in Science, the IPI pitches one of the five “Challenges” of the event: the youth must question today’s IP rights system and suggest changes in the light of the challenges of the digital revolution and the development of “smart cities”. The solutions will be presented at the end at a public event.
Due to the support of the ISTF, the IPI can secure a place for the topic of intellectual property with tomorrow’s leaders and contributes to the fostering of education and innovation in Switzerland. The IPI is also engaged as a partner for the Swiss Youth in Science foundation.
