China is emerging as an influential player in the field of patent and utility model filing. Its legal system for enforcing intellectual property rights is currently going through a rapid phase of development and has attracted worldwide attention, not least due to the great global economic implications of its decisions.
As part of a sabbatical leave presentation and discussions on international cooperation between Switzerland and the People's Republic of China and Taiwan, ip-search's expert on China will speak at the China IP & Innovation Summit on the topic of "IP Challenges Abroad". The congress, to be held on 13-14 March in Hangzhou in the Yangtze River Delta region of China, addresses IP managers and consultants, and deals with case law, strategy and politics on intellectual property rights both in China and compared internationally.
