Innosuisse and the IPI — a partnership for Swiss innovation
SMEs and start-ups should be provided with the best conditions to make their innovations economically viable. This is the incentive for a collaboration between the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property (IPI) and Innosuisse, the Swiss Innovation Agency.
The Assisted Patent Search is at the heart of the collaboration between Innosuisse and the IPI. Recipients of Innosuisse funding can take advantage of a free, one-off patent search. As part of this service, together with an IPI patent expert, companies can put their idea or invention under the microscope, find out if it is new and how they may want to proceed. This serves as an excellent basis for further steps, such as applying for a patent, meeting with investors etc.
This video explains the Assisted Patent Search.
