Swiss Biotech Report 2014
The Swiss Biotech Report 2014 has just been published. It illuminates the most important drivers of innovation and summarises issues and facts about the development of the Swiss biotech industry. Compiled by a group of representatives from public institutions – including the Federal Institute of Intellectual Property – and current enterprises, it appears annually.
According to the report, the companies based in Switzerland which were listed in Biotech 2013 showed a two percent increase for sales revenue as well as for their employees. Investment activity increased significantly: Swiss biotechnology enterprises could post a positive 60% increase in capital investment; a major portion of that, however, went to just one company.
