Status Report on IPR Infringement in the EU
The European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) published its Status Report on IPR Infringement (in English) on 6 June 2019.
The report summarises the findings of the research carried out in recent years by the EUIPO, through the European Observatory on Infringements of Intellectual Property Rights (Observatory), on the extent, scope and economic consequences of intellectual property right infringement (IPR) in the EU.
You can find the full report in English as well as summaries in 22 additional languages on the Observatory's website.
Counterfeiting and piracy are also a problem in Switzerland. This is why the IPI is involved in the fight against counterfeiting and piracy domestically as well as in international organisations.
