Start-up Days – 007 gives start-ups a helping hand

James Bond was recently at the service of the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property (IPI) at the Start-up Days event in Bern.

In a session that you don’t see every day, it was the IPI who protected the secret agent – from the biggest pitfalls that start-ups face when dealing with their intellectual property (IP). The audience witnessed how the quintessential British gentleman is now trying his luck as a gadget entrepreneur and had many an IP question along the way. Intellectual property and its protection is a key piece of the puzzle on the path to success, particularly for young companies.

The Start-up Days event is a new sponsorship of the IPI. The event took place on 23 June as a hybrid event at the Kursaal Congress Centre.  The IPI was also present at the event throughout the day with a stand.
