The German-speaking specialist congress on patents, Patente 2014, will this year be held on 12 and 13 March in Munich. It will tackle the major issues of IP management including how enterprises can globally and sustainably protect their innovative edge and how IP managers can harness the  information available in their company, whether it be for developers or for decision-makers.
ip-search will also be present at the congress as a sponsor, as well as with our patent expert Professor Heinz Müller, who will contribute to the event in the form of a plenary session.  He will explain the importance of patent searches along the innovation chain and the possibilities they offer, as well as analyse how the scope and depth of a freedom-to-operate search are dependent on the relevant stage of the product development and the communication between the client and the patent search expert.
