This year, the annual conference on intellectual property hosted by the University of Geneva’s Faculty of Law is dedicated to the topic of intellectual property and sustainability.

At the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property (IPI), the subject of intellectual property and sustainable development deals with the intellectual property aspects of biodiversity, traditional knowledge, climate change, the transfer of clean technologies to developing countries, agricultural biotechnology and food security.

 

At the conference, IPI expert Dr Marco d'Alessandro will present the approaches and measures the IPI is taking towards the fulfilment of the Sustainable Development Goals.
