Federal Council report
of 15 November 2006 on protecting "Made in Switzerland" designations and the Swiss cross
The Hutter Postulate (06.3056) and the Fetz Postulate (06.3174) mandated the Federal Council to examine possible measures, legislative or otherwise, which could better protect "Made in Switzerland" designations and the Swiss cross against illegal use.
On 3 July 2007, the Committees for Legal Affairs of the Council of States and the Council of Nations approved the Federal Council report and released it for forwarding to parliament.
