Advisory Committee on Enforcement (ACE)
The Advisory Committee on Enforcement (ACE) is a forum for exchanging information on the enforcement of intellectual property rights. The ACE's work focuses on combating counterfeiting and piracy. Its main tasks are sharing experience and facilitating cooperation between member states (e.g. on public awareness raising). However, norm-setting is not part of the Committee's mandate.
The IPI represents Switzerland in the ACE. It actively participates in the Committee's meetings by contributing to substantive discussions and by giving representatives of companies and organisations the opportunity to contribute their experiences in combating counterfeiting and piracy directly to the Committee's work.
