The trade mark registration fee in Switzerland is CHF 450 for three classes of goods and services, for 10 years. In addition, a discount of CHF 100 applies for trade mark applications filed via etrademark.
The fee for renewing trade mark protection for another 10 years is CHF 700. As of 1 July 2024, the renewal fee will be reduced from CHF 700 to CHF 550. Whether the old or new fee applies depends on the date of expiry of protection in accordance with Art. 10 TmPA. If this date is before 1 July 2024, the old fee of CHF 700 will apply. If not, the new fee of CHF 550 will take effect.
