Submission by post or courier is, of course, open to you for all procedures. The options available for each procedure can be found on the page submitting documentation for procedures.
The most common changes to a register entry of a Swiss trade mark can be requested online via the Trade Mark Database. You will need a user account to do so, which we will be happy to create for you. You will need to register to receive our letters electronically if you want to have a user account. If you rarely request changes to the register, you can also submit them as a guest in the Trade Mark Database.
Please note that for new patent applications, you must submit three copies of the technical documentation if you send them by post (only two copies are required if you are submitting them after having already filed the application). However, if you send your documents by email to the address patent.admin, you only need to attach one copy of the technical documentation as a PDF file. @ekomm.ipi .ch
For trade marks, you can also receive correspondence from the IPI by email after prior registration on one of the recognised delivery platforms and subsequent registration with the IPI. In this way, you can process, forward or archive IPI correspondence simply and easily. You can find all relevant information under electronic delivery.
