01 New search report – your opinion counts

Our search reports have had a facelift. Thanks to streamlined content, you can
quickly grasp key information and easily navigate your way through the report.
The best way to sound out our new report is to take a look at our

sample
version

.

The new report format will be officially launched in the summer, but you can
already choose the new format starting in April when you order a search. Once we’ve sent you your report, we’ll ask you for your opinion via a short online survey. We would
appreciate your feedback, and we’ll thank you with a small gift for filling in the
survey.

02 Artificial intelligence in patent searches

Everyone’s talking about artificial intelligence (AI), so we tested it to see
whether we could use it in our patent searches. Our initial experience has
shown that AI cannot replace our expertise, but it can support us in the future.
We’ll be sharing our experience of AI at the Patents Conference in Vienna on 4
May 2021.
