European Inventor Award 2019 – Search for ingenious inventors
Nominations for the European Inventor Award 2019 are now open. Will Switzerland be successful again this time?
Until 28 September, you can help determine who should receive the coveted award by making a nomination. The award is open to inventors and anyone interested from the business community, research, intellectual property associations, universities and the general public.

Who will be the successor of the Swiss inventor Ursula Keller?
The Inventor Award honours inventors from around the globe. They are not only honoured for their scientific or technological achievements but also for the impact of their invention on society and the economy. The spotlight is clearly on those individuals whose inventions have improved our everyday lives.
The Swiss inventor Ursula Keller was honoured with the European Inventor Award in 2018 in the lifetime achievement category for her invention of an ultra-fast laser.
